Yes! The location is at walking distance from the station of Leuven. If you come by car, you can find a parkingspot in the streets around "De Kring" and also on the "de Becker Remy plein". Alternatively there is a carpark underneath the station.

No! This is an open tournament, everyone is free to participate. However, if you are not a member of a club, you may not be eligible for a number of prizes. (i.e: Prize for club with the most participants) You will however need an FIDE-registration number.

Yes! Starting from 2019, the Open Leuven Tournament will be an official FIDE-tournament, and as such will affect your FIDE-ELO!

Once the tournament has started, refunds are not possible. If you have paid for your participation to tournament and are for any reason not able to attend, please contact us as soon as possible on chess@leuvencentraal.be

Yes! We will provide food at the tournament. Aside from sandwiches and hot-dogs, we will provide freshly made dinners. A vegetarian alternative will also be at your disposal.
